Right now I’d be happy with a few more readers. The downside of being beautiful/handsome is that people don’t really pay attention, not the way one wants them to. They pay attention to get your attention.

I actually am going crazy revising dissertation. So what I’ve been doing lately is trying to blog something, trying to meet someone new, then getting to work on what I need done.

I’m going outside too and writing in the pen and paper journal. But I’m finding it helpful to have a routine when getting online so I can make the most of it and get off it when I need to.

“today has been idle and slow. i read two works of fiction by john green, both of which a) made me cry and b) made me feel like i was squandering my life. it is twenty past one and tomorrow i am going to ikea in the hopes to find some suitable and stylish storage solutions. and a lamp. but i will probably just end up buying plates and fake flowers. incidentally today is the first evening in about two months that i have not self harmed. the thought and urge has been nagging me almost constantly however. i hope i can continue this way, i caught myself in the mirror yesterday and flinched at the scars resting everywhere. my mother really hates them. i am not sure about studying, i think given that this is my second attempt at psychology and my fourth attempt at general tertiary education that maybe it is not for me. but i do not know what else to so, what else do you do? i should stop trying to make huge life decisions so early in the morning, that would probably be a good step.”
