Truth.

But I do know what I’d do with the fame. The first thing is to thank everyone who helped and share the wealth. The second thing is to make sure people get something out of paying attention to me. That can be anything from sharing poetry to answering questions well to just focusing on my own work and doing the best I can.

In other words: the fame is a means to an end, nothing more. It goes away and that isn’t the worst thing. The worst is to prolong it.
