You know, right now I’m working with a few people who think the “big, flashy spectacle” will solve everything. They’re betting on milestones and money and expensive places to solve underlying issues regarding family, education, faith, friends and skills. I don’t know what to say to any of them, as I’m kinda betting on a certain success to help resolve other issues. I just know there are little things that can be done in the meantime that are very important, if not more important than the results we get.

I don’t know why I’m feeling the same. I think it’s because I want the result more than doing the work. I don’t know when I started not wanting to do the work, but I remember when I loved the work alone.
